Análise do Emprego de Meios Eletrônicos no Sistema Penitenciário Federal para Produção de Conhecimentos de Inteligência

Abstract

This study analyzes the application of the operational technique of intelligence employing electronic means, within the scope of the Federal Penitentiary System, as an integral instrument of the knowledge production cycle in Penitentiary Intelligence. Through its own methodology and supported by judicial authorizations that allow, under the law, the capture of conversations between prisoners, as well as between prisoners and their visitors, it is possible to produce useful and timely knowledge for the decision-making process, with the public security system in the country. The applicability of this technique in the state penitentiary systems is recognized.
